As Security Management Professional, his background includes an advanced 22-year law enforcement career with the highly regarded Houston Police Department. He received over 40 awards in that capacity, including supervisory and civilian commendations.

Mr. Chappell has more than 20 years of training and “hands on” experience evaluating, developing, and managing security and crime prevention programs. He coordinated numerous security related functions at hotels, bars and night clubs, and apartments. Mr. Chappell has handled large events during the Super Bowl, MLB All Stars, and NCAA Final Four events. He was also a hostage negotiator for over 12 years responsible for the safe resolution to highly stressful and violent events.

Roger Chappell has served as both a private sector security consultant and a public sector Master Peace Officer. He has earned a stellar reputation as an expert in hostage negotiation and received the prestigious Hostage Negotiator of the Year award in 2013.

Dr. Randall Atlas AIA , CPP is a Registered Architect, NCARB certified, and he practices Criminal Justice Architecture and Environmental Security Design. Atlas is a certified protection professional (CPP) with the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), and is an appointed member of the ASIS Security Architecture and Engineering Committee. Atlas has his doctorate in criminology and a masters of architecture. Dr Atlas is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Architecture for Justice Committee.

Dr. Atlas has taught CPTED (Crime Prevention through Environmental Design) and criminal justice courses at Florida International University, Florida Atlantic University, and the University of Miami, Keiser University, and he is a trainer with the National Crime Prevention Institute at the University of Louisville. Dr. Atlas has been a technical Assistance consultant with the National Institute of Justice, National Institute of Corrections, and the Florida Department of Corrections and U.S. HUD Drug Elimination CPTED Program.

He has conducted ADA accessibility compliance audits for private and public sector clients, and served as an expert witness on over 200 premises liability lawsuits.

Dr. Atlas has been a speaker and trainer at security conferences from New Delhi, India to Seattle, Washington and has written over 200 articles in various publications on security, safety, and counter terrorism issues.

Dennis Fivecoat has over 25 years of Use of Force and Firearm experience in the military and private sector including significant training in the area of Civilian Law Enforcement.

Mr. Fivecoat is a retired US Army physician assistant with a wide variety of functional background and experience. He has seen service in eight different countries encompassing desert, jungle, snow, and maritime missions. His past responsibilities range from combat in SW Asia to hospital duties as an ICU nurse in South Carolina. He has responded during national hurricane relief efforts and somewhat smaller Defense Support to Civil Authority (DSCA) missions.

As a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, Mr. Fivecoat participated in Operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm. Later, he also participated in the relief and stabilization efforts after Hurricane Andrew in August 1992. In March of 1994, Dennis participated in response to the Pope AFB plane crash incident. In 2003, Mr. Fivecoat became a “plank owner” in the newly created US Northern Command (NORTHCOM) where he represented FEMA regions VI & VII (encompassing 9 US states).

Mr. Fivecoat has participated in training with all branches of US military service, various special operations forces, the US Coast Guard, and numerous alphabet agencies. He is a frequently invited guest speaker and instructor for WMD/CBRNE, hazardous materials, and tactical/austere medicine. He is also a very active firearm and defensive tactics instructor with numerous nationally recognized instructor certifications.

Prior to retiring from the military, Mr. Fivecoat has been called to duty for such incidents as Hurricane Katrina, the Las Vegas ricin incident, the H1N1 pandemic, and the US Ebola exposure incident. He retired from the US Army in 2010 and began private consulting on terrorism, DSCA, and force protection issues.
