Monica M. Argumedo, MD, is a Board-Certified Forensic and Clinical Psychiatrist (ABPN). Dr. Argumedo has testified about her forensic opinions in more than 40 cases in open court. In psychiatric practice for more than 15 years, Dr. Argumedo teaches at Rush University Medical School/Rush University Medical Center as Assistant Professor in Psychiatry. Gerald W. Smetana, MD, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, is a General Internist with over 36 years of experience in an academic primary care practice at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is also a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School where he has taught internal medicine to medical house staff and also teaches extensively to practicing clinicians in continuing medical education settings. Dr. Smetana is a Master of the American College of Physicians.

Practicing in an outpatient setting, Dr. Smetana cares for a panel of patients that is weighted towards those with multiple chronic illnesses and high disease complexity. Dr. Michael Blumenkrantz was educated at Columbia College and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He spent three years in post-graduate training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, trained in London at the National Heart Hospital and Royal Post-Graduate Hammersmith. Dr. Blumenkrantz continued his training in Nephrology at the Wadsworth VAH and UCLA, worked at the Pritikin Center and he remained in academic medicine, for 10 years where he did extensive clinical research and achieved the rank of Associate Professor of Medicine, (step three, in residence), at UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Blumenkrantz became nationally and internationally known for his work in kidney disease, dialysis and clinical nutrition, (80 + publications), lecturing and discussing cases nationally as well as an invited visiting Professor at numerous international institutions.
