Dean's background includes over 5,000 hours of full-time experience specific to death investigations, injuries, and negligence, not counting internships or part-time work. Since 2008, Dean has continued to enhance his skills and education beyond certification requirements, co-developing the Certified Forensic Death Investigator (CFDI) program with his wife.

Michael W. Staples is a former Ohio Board of Medicine Investigator and a former Law Enforcement Narcotics Detective. He is the Chief Compliance Officer for several large healthcare practices and conducts back to front door inspections of healthcare providers to ensure compliance, and has taught continuing medical education to healthcare professionals.

Peter Wade had a 32 year career with the U.S. Postal Service retiring in 1993 as Assistant Regional Chief Postal Inspector, Northeast Region, with responsibility for implementation of the criminal investigative and security programs of the Postal Inspection Service in the Northeastern United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. 

Mr. Wade also served as General Manager/Postmaster Caribbean Division, USPS, supervising 3,500 postal employees in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In that capacity, he was responsible for all postal operations in the U.S. Caribbean from 1989 through 1991.

Arthur S. Chancellor is a Law Enforcement Expert with over 40 years of experience, including 30+ years as a Special Agent, supervisor, and Commander with the US Army Criminal Investigation Division. He is currently serving as an Instructor and Consultant at Second Look Training and Forensic Consulting, LLC.

Joseph E. Gunja is a Jails, Prisons and Corrections Expert with more than 30 years of experience in the corrections industry. Mr. Gunja had a distinguished career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) for over 28 years serving as a Correctional Officer, Shift Supervisor, Investigator, Captain, Associate Warden, and Warden at three complex correctional facilities.

During her career with the San Diego Police Department, Ms. Mohr was awarded three Commanding Officer’s Citations, which were the highest awards offered by the San Diego Police Department for investigative acumen at the time.  After retiring from the San Diego Police Department, she conducted death penalty mitigation investigations, and other complex felony investigations, including homicide and white-collar cases, for the Whatcom County, Washington, Public Defender’s Office.  This includes conducting investigations of allegations of police misconduct for the City of Albuquerque Independent Review Office.
