Dr. Christopher A. Lowery, DHSc, CLCP is a Clinical Health & Rehabilitation Consultant who is board-certified as a life care planner, and he provides national telehealth clinical services in medical life care planning, counseling, assessments and evaluations, employment/career issues, pre-surgical consultation, biopsychosocial health promotion and prevention. He currently hold the following degrees from University of North Texas, Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Studies (07); University of Oklahoma, Master of Arts in Human and Health Administration Services (10); Capital University Law School, Post-Specialty Certificate in Life Care Planning (12); University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Post-Master's Certificate in Rehabilitation Counseling (14); and Nova Southeastern University, Doctor of Health Science in Global Health (16).
Dr. Lowery, integrates his health services to individuals, and primary and specialty care providers to focus on initiatives that addresses mental health, medical, psychological and psychosocial aspect of disabilities. His approach aims to provide support and holistic care to clients/patients, and guide them to understand their individual barriers and enablers, and target long-term life care planning that should increase health improvements. The main approaches are cognitive, acceptance and commitment, motivational interviewing, person-centered, human lifespan, and reality approaches, which should prevent poor health, injury outcomes, and improve good health and enhance quality of life.
