Jason founded the FBI’s Orange County Cyber Task Force, uniting cyber investigators from federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. From 2021 until his retirement in December 2023, Jason led U.S. government investigations into the Pig Butchering Scam, the largest cryptocurrency scam globally, earning him a nomination for the Attorney General’s award from the Department of Justice’s National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team (NCET). Post-retirement, Jason appeared as an expert guest on the Dr. Phil show, which aired on April 24, 2024.

Jason is a specialist in cryptocurrency valuation and Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs), including Binance, Coinbase, Crypto.com, Bybit, OKX, Kraken, KuCoin, Bitget, and Gate.io. He has extensive expertise in major cryptocurrency assets such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Binance Coin (BNB), USD Coin (USDC), and Tron (TRX), among others. Jason is adept at detecting and mitigating money laundering techniques by tracing through Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs) and Bridges. Additionally, he is skilled in using various Cryptocurrency Forensic Software Applications, including Chainalysis, TRM, and Qlue.

Larry Leibrock, PhDi, is the founder and officer for eForensics, where he leads the Digitial Systems Security team and performs Cyber Enabled Investigations. His primary research and practitioner competencies focus on Enterprise Forensics dealing with a wide range of client devices, networks, and servers which interplay in electronic discovery investigations.

Litigation Support - Dr. Leibrock has conducted over 100 digital forensics examinations, testified in over 20 hearings / trials and taught basic to advanced digital forensics tutorials in 8 countries. He has served as an expert in US Federal Courts, US State Courts, and for international authorities including Mexico, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Dr. Leibrock's digital forensics investigations range from: administrative disputes, possession of contraband pornography, malicious network intrusions to capitol espionage cases. As a digital forensics expert, he has served in consulting and testifying capacities in civil defendant and plaintiff and criminal prosecution defendant disputes. In addition, he has served as court appointed special master in forensics intellectual property disputes.

His works, such as "Informational Sovereignty: A New Framework for AI Regulation" and "Ethical Technology Risk: Identifying Reasonable Data Protection for ODR", have shaped discourse in AI law and policy globally. His contributions to Thomson Reuters' Leading Legal Disruption, multiple articles within the International Journal on Online Dispute Resolution, and the chapter "Online Dispute Resolution Data Security" in Online Dispute Resolution - Theory and Practice, Second Edition reflect his commitment to advancing legal scholarship in the age of AI. He has also authored multiple chapters in the upcoming books The Environmental Knowledge Commons: Cases and Lessons for Knowledge Sharing by Cambridge University Press and Governing Artificial Intelligence being published by Brill in early 2025.
